Such a term is a bit crude, but somewhat appropriate to describe the nature of purging a game of its copyrighted elements, and keeping its core rule system intact. The term retro-clone and distill are the same thing, but retro-clone sounds much better.

http://www.unclebear.com/wiki/index.php?title=DoubleZeroMalcadonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03111796978336546944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-737080860119263961.post-561771774381237452008-11-12T03:51:00.000-08:002008-11-12T03:51:00.000-08:00No, that is a very helpful distinction for me. So, in the strict sense, no it's not a retro-clone since it does not emulate one game as closely as possible.Dan of Earthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04957424338566461756noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-737080860119263961.post-70765209826039840362008-11-11T22:00:00.000-08:002008-11-11T22:00:00.000-08:00... so does BFRPG qualify?... so does BFRPG qualify?JimLotFPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02992397707040836366noreply@blogger.com
